10 FLAVORED WATER RECIPES THAT YOU'LL LOVE

If you’re trying to cut down on drinking soda & other sugary drinks, flavored water will be really helpful in the process. Drinking plain water day after day can get boring though (can we all agree?!) and that’s when it’s easy to “fall off the wagon”. 

Playing around with different flavors will not only keep things fun and interesting, but keep your tastebuds engaged and further away from the siren-calls of Dr. Pepper. 

For all recipes, combine the ingredients in a large glass carafe or pitcher, cover and refrigerate for 12-24 hours. 

And if you really want to JOOJ things up, you can use sparkling water instead of flat. Taste buds say what?!?!

 

LAVENDER-LEMON

 

2 liters water (+ optional ice) 
1 lemon (sliced)
2 fresh lavender sprigs or 1 tsp dried culinary lavender 
For an added oomph, use sparkling water instead.

 

CANTALOUPE, LEMON + MINT

2 liters water (+ optional ice) 
1 cup cantaloupe
1/2 lemon (thinly sliced)
5 fresh mint sprigs 

 

WATERMELON + BASIL

2 liters water (+ optional ice) 
3-4 small slices watermelon
1/4 cup fresh basil leaves 

 

TANGERINE, NECTARINE + BASIL 

2 liters water (+ optional ice) 
1 tangerine (peeled & sliced)
1 nectarine (sliced)
5-6 fresh basil leaves 

 

BLUEBERRY + LEMON VERBENA 

2 liters water (+ optional ice) 
1/2 cup fresh blueberries
1/2 lemon (thinly sliced)
4 fresh lemon verbena sprigs 

 

APPLE + CINNAMON

2 liters water (+ optional ice) 
1 red apple (thinly sliced)
1 cinnamon stick
3-4 allspice berries 
The flavor will take a few hours to set in for this recipe. 

 

STRAWBERRY, KIWI + LIME

2 liters water (+ optional ice) 
4 fresh strawberries (cut)
1/2 kiwi (sliced)
1/2 lime (sliced)

 

CITRUS + CUCUMBER

2 liters water (+ optional ice) 
1/2 lemon (thinly sliced)
1/2 orange (sliced)
1/2 cup cucumber (sliced)

 

LEMON, GINGER + TURMERIC 

2 liters water (+ optional ice) 
1/2 lemon (thinly sliced)
2 slices fresh ginger root
1/2 tablespoon ground turmeric 

 

ROSEMARY + GINGER

2 liters water (+ optional ice) 
1/2 tablespoon fresh ginger root (minced) 
2 fresh rosemary sprigs
Few lemon slices if the taste is too intense for you.
